We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Therapist to join our fast paced, traumatic-informed Treatment Foster Care (TFC) team, providing direct therapy services to children and adolescents, and their foster and birth families. In this role, you will play a critical part in stabilizing the youth and helping them heal from complex behavioral and emotional challenges. You’ll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to deliver individualized, evidence-based care that promotes safety, permanency, and long-term success. No one day is like another in TFC.

$58,118 to $74,813

Job Summary:
In a team setting, performs assessment, diagnostic evaluation, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups with behavioral health issues.

  • Skill in assessment procedures and diagnostic evaluation, using cultural humility as a lens

  • Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Knowledge of ethical principles and state laws and adheres to state reporting and regulatory guidelines
  • Formulates realistic, developmentally appropriate, patient centered treatment goals and evaluates progress toward goals

Job Requirements:
 

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a behavioral health related field.
  • Current New Mexico license in the field of counseling, social work, psychology.
  • At least two years’ experience working directly with youth and their families. 
  • Must maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current car insurance. Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
