Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the EHS center’s kitchen and for all meal preparation, ensuring full compliance with the State Food Program’s regulations and required paperwork.

Core Competencies:

Ability to plan, develop and execute meal plans
General understanding of the nutritional needs of young children
Proficient in basic math skills and cooking unit measurements/conversions
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Demonstrated self-initiative and adaptability
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff and families
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in basic computer skills

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Childhood Development, or related field, is preferred.
Experience in food preparation for large groups are required
Experience working with the State Food Program is strongly preferred.
