Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by managing medication inventory, documentation, performing audits, and ensuring compliance is maintained within their scope of licensure. This role works under the direct supervision of the pharmacist to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant medication practices across all clinic locations.
Core Competencies:
Familiarity with medical/pharmacy setting & procedures and brand/generic nomenclature.
Knowledge of pharmacy inventory management and medication handling
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Excellent math skills.
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
Strong communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships throughout organization.
Self-initiation and adaptability.
Adhere to all federal, state and organizational policies and procedures
Job Requirements :
Active Pharmacy Technician license in the State of New Mexico
National certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
